About us
Corporate Responsibility
At Grant Thornton, we’re always aware of the impact that our
business activities could have on the wider community. And with
that in mind, we want whatever we’re doing to have only positive
affects for our people, our clients and suppliers, our environment
and our community.
We believe being a good business is about more than just a
strong reputation in the business world, it’s about having the
respect of the public. This is why we give our community and
environmental performances equal importance to that of our
financial and business ones.
Corporate responsibility reflects our values as a firm, and it’s
a part of our business that we’re committed to improving. Part of
that commitment has been to create a special leadership group, made
up of partners and staff from across the firm, chaired by our Chief
Executive Officer, Scott Barnes. Their task is to develop
innovative and exciting strategies to bring our corporate
responsibility agenda to life and promote its importance to
everyone at Grant Thornton.
Each year, we aim to compare our activities and performances
with our peers and other business operations on a Corporate
Responsibility Index. This way we can identify areas for
improvement to ensure that we always move forwards with our
corporate responsibility programme.
