David Bennett (Partner)
David is a partner in our Recovery and Reorganisation practice
in the Midlands. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, David worked at
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for 15 years in London, Hong Kong and
latterly in the Thames Valley. David also spent a number of years
working in Lead Advisory, Corporate Finance.
Recent Experience
- led the sale of the UK and European stores of the High and
Mighty retail group
- led the restructuring of the Four Pillars Hotel group
- led a number of advisory/restructuring assignments relating to
businesses with defined benefit pension schemes including Batemans
Opticians and the Hiflex Group of Companies
- led the refinancing of Glentworth Engineering Limited and a
large international commodity supplier
David's expertise focuses on:
- finding innovative solutions for companies with financial
difficulties which includes the following sectors:
- leisure
- retail
- housebuilding and contracting
