Tony Dunn (Partner)
Tony is a partner in our National Corporate
Finance Team, specialising in private equity/"buy side" and
advising shareholders on strategies for wealth creation.
Experience
Tony joined us at Grant Thornton in 2003. Previously he had
worked with KPMG Corporate Finance where he completed numerous
transactions including the take private of Wyko Plc, the
acquisition of Vickers Turbine Components by RBPE, the simultaneous
acquisitions of QE and Meta to create Aktrion Group by Bridgepoint
and the acquisition of Penn Pharmaceuticals by Gresham.
With 14 years experience in all aspects of Corporate Finance,
Tony joined Grant Thornton to focus on the mid market with
transaction activity covering acquisition advisory, equity release
and the various derivatives of the more traditional management
buyout. Recent transactional experience includes the BIMBO of
Nightingales, supported by NVM and RBS, the acquisition of Midland
Vehicle Contracts by Prohire funded by HBoS and the equity
restructuring of Premier Bathrooms supported by ECI and Lloyds.
