Andrew Conquest (Partner)
Andrew works in our Financial Advisory Services
unit, specialising in the provision of advice to trustee boards of
defined benefit schemes in deficit, their sponsoring employers and
stakeholders.
Experience
Andrew joined us at Grant Thornton in 1970 and was elected to
the Partnership in 1980. Before moving to our London office in 2000
he was responsible for leading the firm's Recovery &
Reorganisation practice in East Anglia for over 20 years.
Andrew provides financial advice to Trustees of defined benefits
schemes to assist an assessment of the financial strength of the
employer and to negotiate improved security for the scheme. This
has involved advising on "clearance statements" and assessing the
ability of the principal employer to meet proposed
contributions.
