Gerry Beaney (Partner)
Gerry is head of Grant Thornton's Capital Markets
team and specialises in due diligence.
Experience
Gerry qualified as a Scottish Chartered Accountant and spent 5
years in New York City during which time he qualified as a US
Certified Public Accountant. Gerry returned to London in 1992 and
in 1997 Gerry became a partner and shortly after wards joined the
firm's Capital Markets team, assisting clients achieve floatation
on the Alternative Investment Market or Official List and advising
on transactions covered by the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
Gerry is an authorised Nominated Adviser for AIM and Sponsor for
the Official List. Whilst working in the US Gerry gained 5 years
experience in audit and corporate finance and also has significant
merger and acquisitions expertise.
